Ms. Fennell started her teaching career here at Rose Hill ES in 2016 after completing a Masters’ in Education at GW. She is from Florida and is a graduate of the University of Florida. When she is not at Rose Hill, Ms. Fennell likes to spend time with her family and friends and try new things! This is her 4th year teaching kindergarten. Ms. Fennell love kindergarten and she is so excited for another year!
Mrs. Garcia Quinones has been a kindergarten Immersion Teacher at Rose Hill ES for 7 years. She is from Puerto Rico and has been living in Virginia for 7 years. While in Puerto Rico, she earned her undergraduate degree from the University from Puerto Rico and her Masters Studies at Universidad Interamericana at Ponce Puerto Rico. Mrs. Garcia Quinones has been working in kindergarten for all her years in Fairfax County. She enjoys her family's company and loves to excercises!
Mrs. Ruthenberg grew up in Herndon, and graduated from Herndon High School. She received a B.S. from James Madison University in Early Childhood Education, a M.A. in Special Education from the University of San Diego and an ESOL Endorsement from the University of Virginia. Her teaching experience includes working with students with moderate to severe disabilities, special education preschool, and 24 years of teaching kindergarten in FCPS. She is excited to be teaching the kindergarten inclusion class this Year at Rose Hill. Mrs. Ruthenberg lives in Charlotte Hall, Md. She loves spending time with her husband, Tom, her children, Riley and Connor, and their two dogs Lady and Benny. When she isn’t in the classroom (or her car commuting) she enjoys hiking, and kayaking.
My name is Janeth Tlatelpa and I went to George Mason University. I have a master's degree on Curriculum and Instruction for Diverse Learners. I was born and raised here in Alexandria, Va. I been with Fairfax county Public Schools for 7 years. Before becoming a Kindergarten Teacher, I was a Kindergarten Assistant. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and pets.
Mrs. Baig has been an instructional assistant for 14 years at Rose Hill Elementary. This will be her 13th year at this amazing school. She really enjoys working with the kiddos because they make her laugh and tell her interesting stories. In her free time she likes to cook and exercise. She also likes to spend time with her family.
Mrs. Motta is originally from Lima, Peru. She has worked for Arlington and Fairfax County Schools for more than 11 years and has been at Rose Hill Elementary for 8 years as a Spanish Immersion Assistant. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UNIFE, The Sacred Heart University in Peru. Mrs. Motta has a 14-year-old son Gabriel. She also enjoys going to his soccer games, visiting beaches, and working out.
