Mary Amenyah
Mrs. Amenyah grew up, completed tertiary education, and began her career in Ghana, West Africa. She has also lived in Tanzania and Nigeria. She attained her Masters’ degree in Early Childhood Special Education from George Mason University and has been teaching at Rose Hill Elementary since 2017. Her teaching philosophy is that every child is unique and special. Given the necessary love, guidance and attention, every child has the potential to overcome their disabilities. She has been married to her husband for 25 years and has 2 sons in high school. She is a soccer mom because her boys love soccer and are in travel teams so almost every weeknight is spent for soccer practices and weekends are spent playing soccer games. Mrs. Amenyah’s hobbies are cooking, baking and cake decorations among others.
Lauren Johnson
Laura Osborne
Ms. Laura is originally from Poughkeepsie, NY. She got her undergraduate degree in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the University of Rochester and her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education from the George Washington University. Ms. Laura is married to her high school sweetheart, Luke, and has two boys who attend Rose Hill, Sean and Zachary. In addition to teaching, Ms. Laura loves to cook and bake, as well as taste the results!
Shannon Puckett
Mrs. Puckett was born and raised in Springfield, Va. She graduated from Hayfield Secondary School and attended George Mason University where she received a BS in Psychology and a master’s degree in early childhood special education. She is going into her 8th year as a teacher in the Preschool Autism Program. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and watching her son Jared swim and play baseball.
Edward Windhausen
Mr. Windhausen, a native of Syracuse, NY, has been working in early childhood education for over twenty-five years. He received his undergraduate degree in Communications from George Mason University where he also earned a master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education. He is honored to help support an orphanage and preschool in rural Zambia, Africa and has had the privilege to travel there and work with the children several times. In his spare time, Mr. Windhausen enjoys motorcycling, reading, writing, playing guitar, ukulele, and harmonica. But mostly, he loves spending time with his two wonderful daughters.

Saba Rauf
Ms. Rauf received her masters in Science. She has been teaching for 13 years in different grade levels, 7 of which have been at Rose Hill in Preschool. She truly loves teaching at Rose Hill and it has been amazing. She has 1 daughter who is in high school. Her hobbies include cooking, shopping, and gardening.
