Mr. Postman is a music teacher at RHES. He is from Yorktown, VA in the Hampton Roads region. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Music and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Virginia Tech. He worked as a band teacher in Bedford County and a substitute teacher in Prince William and Loudon counties before coming to Fairfax County. This is Mr. Postman’s 6th year at RHES. In addition to teaching, he enjoys baking, cooking, jogging, traveling, attending concerts and musicals, and watching Hokie football and basketball.

Mrs. Bartley is in her second year as a music teacher at Rose Hill. She earned a bachelor's in music education from the University of Kansas and a master's in trombone performance from Michigan State University before moving to Virginia. Her favorite part of being a music teacher is learning new songs and instruments! Outside of school, she enjoys being active, baking, and teaching her dog new tricks.
