Christina Roehm

Assistant Principal, ES

Ms. Roehm (pronounced Ray-m) is originally from California. She moved around a lot in her early years and was able to experience many different school systems as a student. Eventually landing in Northern Virginia, she graduated from Chantilly High School and started working as an assistant at a local elementary school. She fell in love with it and decided she wanted to pursue a career in education to better support and advocate for students. She attended George Mason University to receive her Bachelor’s in Psychology, Master’s in Early Childhood Special Education and Certification in Administration and Supervision preK-12. Ms. Roehm has taught Early Childhood Special Education for 15 years and most recently has been the acting Assistant Principal at Cardinal Forest Elementary, West Springfield Elementary and Kilmer Day School.

Fun Fact: Ms. Roehm’s first teaching position was at Rose Hill where she was nominated for the Outstanding First Year Teacher award in Fairfax County.

When not at school, you can find Ms. Roehm cuddling with her dogs, playing in her garden or at the Kennedy Center watching a musical production.
