Students from our Military Children's Club and Safety Patrols gathered to tape the Pledge of Allegiance for our news broadcast outside for Veteran's Day.
These are the Rose Hill Student Ambassadors who are part of the Military Children's Club. On Veterans Day they gathered to write thank you letters to community members.
Our PTA sponsored Fun Run fund raiser was a huge success! We didn't let the rain dampen our spirts as we changed to an indoor dance party!
Ms. Martel our P.E. teacher and some students were enjoying the Fun Run dance party!

Southlands Farm Project came and gave a wonderful presentation to our PreK-3rd grade students about dairy farms!
Students got to see a real dairy cow and hear about the milking process.
We had so much fun learning about milk and dairy farming with Megan and her cow Honey.
Our Young Scholars went on a field trip to Virginia Tech's ThinkaBit Labs located in Falls Church.
Here our Young Scholars are working on some circuit boards to program a traffic light.
The students used the skills they just learned to create an invention that had a robotic element to it. Then they presented it to each other.
