This is Ms. Maguire’s second year with FCPS. She grew up in Long Island, NY then attended High school outside of Richmond, VA. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree at James Madison University in Inclusive Early Childhood education with endorsements in Early Childhood Special Education and Primary Education PreK- 3. Following college graduation Ms. Maguire traveled to Samara Costa Rica to earn her TEFL (Teach English as a Foreign Language) Certificate and teach abroad for 8 months. In 2020 she went on to teach 3^rd grade for Richmond City Public schools before landing in 3^rd grade here at Rose Hill! When she is not teaching she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and Yorkie named Ollie, making earrings for her small business and trying new restaurants all over the DMV area.
