THIRD GRADE CURRICULUM
This is Miss Ardovini’s 2nd year at Rose Hill. She has taught 1st, 2nd , and 3rd grades in FCPS. She is originally from Maryland and earned her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland, but has called Alexandria home for the last 4 years. When she’s not teaching young rockets, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, playing with her two kittens, or exploring her new home state.
Mrs. Frazier is a 3rd grade Language Arts and Social Studies teacher. She earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with English as a Second Language endorsement from Texas A&M University central Texas. This will begin her 7th year of teaching. She taught in central Texas for 3 of those years. This is her third year at Rose Hill and she is very excited! During her time teaching in VA, Mrs. Frazier received an Outstanding Employee Award. When she’s not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and cavapoo puppy she considers her “fur-child” named Winnie. She loves reading books, spending time with her family and friends, and taking her dog out for long walks.
Mrs. Fritz is originally from Western New York but spent her high school years as an exchange student in South America. Upon returning she was the unofficial Spanish tutor in town. This started a lifelong love for teaching. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from University of South Florida. This is her second year at Rose Hill and she loves being a Rocket. In her time away from Rose Hill, Mrs. Fritz enjoys spending time with her family, traveling as much as possible and jogging the many trails that the area has to offer.
This is Miss Isherwood’s first year teaching at Rose Hill! She is originally from Connecticut and is loving living in Virginia now. She completed her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education at Wake Forest University and then went on to complete her Master’s Degree at Wake Forest as well. Miss Isherwood loves to read, spend time with her family, and travel whenever she can! She is so excited to meet her students!
