The annual Rocket Launch is our Back-to-School event where parents can update their enrollment forms, drop off school supplies, and meet their teacher! Plan to join us Thursday, August 22nd.  

Preschool & Kindergarten - 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.

Upon arrival, make your way to the gym to drop off all necessary forms.  If you have not yet registered at Rose Hill, click here.  If you are a student who is returning to Rose Hill, complete these forms.

Classroom teachers will be giving parents and students a short presentation beginning at 10:15.  This presentation will include information about grade-level learning standards, classroom structure, and more.  There will be only one informational session, so please be mindful to arrive on time!

After your forms have been completed and turned in, you will receive the name of your child’s teacher, can pick up a Kiss & Ride number, drop off medication, add money to your child’s lunch account, and so much more! Be sure to take the time to stop by the classroom, meet the teacher, drop off school supplies, and sign up for parent/teacher conferences.

FAQs

What if I can’t come to the Rocket Launch?

After August 22^nd, find time to stop by the school office to drop off enrollment forms and obtain the name of your child’s teacher.

Can Preschool and Kindergarten students only come during 10:00-10:45 or can we come later in the day?

We have purposely set aside this time for our youngest RHES Rockets since we know it can be a bit overwhelming. Please plan to attend during the 10:00-10:45 time frame. The Kindergarten classrooms will not be open in the afternoon.

Do we have to come right when the Rocket Launch starts?

No, but you will want to ensure that you have enough time prior to the teacher presentations to go to the gym to complete your paperwork and receive the name and classroom location of your child’s teacher.

What if I miss the first presentation given by the grades 1-6 classroom teachers?

It’s ok if you missed the 2:45 presentation because it will be given again at 3:30.

Can an older sibling drop off the forms and get the classroom teacher information if I am not able to attend?

Only parents/guardians can bring in and sign the necessary documents as well as receive the classroom teacher information.

When will I receive the school supplies I ordered in the spring?

The school supply packs are scheduled to arrive the week of August 19^th and will be delivered to your child’s classroom upon their arrival.

Helpful Tips

• We suggest that you leave your school supplies in your car until after you have turned in your forms and received the name and classroom location of your child’s teacher so you don’t have to carry them around with you.
• The school parking lot may get full. You may park on the side streets and walk to the main door (Door 1) but please refrain from parking in the John Marshall Library parking lot.
