
Rachal Edwards
Ms. Edwards is a NOVA transplant from the central Midwest area. While in the Midwest, she earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with Reading and Science endorsements from the University of Dubuque, her English as a New Language endorsement from Wichita State University, and her Masters Degree in Administrative Leadership from Indiana University. Ms. Edwards has worked in the public, private, and non-profit sectors of education and has traveled throughout the United States, as well as Guam, helping turnaround schools. Throughout her 20+ years in education, Ms. Edwards has won several awards including the Good Apple Teaching Award, Teacher of the Year, Virginia ASCD Impact Award, and most recently, the Outstanding Leader Award. Now that she’s not traveling as much, Ms. Edwards enjoys baking and doing crafty projects.
