End of Year SMARTR Outcome

Language Arts:  

  • By the end of the 2017-18 school year, the percent of students in grades K-2 reading on benchmark as measured by the primary DRA2 will increase from 66% to 75%.  
  • By the end of the 2017-18 school year, the percent of Rose Hill students in grades 3-6 achieving grade level competency in reading will increase from 69% (spring 2017 unadjusted pass rate) to 75% as determined by the Reading SOL assessment.
  • By the end of the 2017-2018 school year, the gap between our White and Hispanic students will decrease from 13% to 10% or less (4 students) as measured by the Reading SOL. 

End of Year SMARTR Outcome

Mathematics: 

  • By the end of the 2017-18 school year, the percent of Rose Hill K-2 students meeting benchmark at the end of the year (based on the assessment determined by each grade level) will be 85%.  
  • By the end of the 2017-18 school year, the percent of Rose Hill students passing the Math SOL Assessment will increase from 68% (Spring 2017 unadjusted pass rate) to 72% as measured by the Math SOL assessment.
  • By the end of the 2017-2018 school year, the gap between our White and Hispanic students will decrease from 22% to below 18% as measured by the Math SOL. 

End of Year SMARTR Outcome

Science:  

  • By the end of the 2017-2018 school year, the percentage of students passing will be 80% or higher as measured by EOY Science teacher-created K-6 cumulative tests.
  • By the end of the 2017-2018 school year, the percent of Rose Hill students passing the Science SOL Assessment will increase from 71% (Spring 2016 Unadjusted Pass Rate) to 74%
  • By the end of the 2017-18 school year the gap between white and Hispanic students will decrease from 15% to 13%.
